The value of common date silver dimes, quarters and half dollars are typically divided into 90% and 40% silver bullion. Dimes, quarters and half dollars dated 1964 and earlier are typically bought and sold as 90% bullion. Half dollars dated 1965 through 1970 are typically considered 40% silver bullion. The values of these coins will change depending on the silver market fluctuations.

Please keep in mind that certain key dates are exceptions and will be priced differently.

It is also important to note that many other dates in exceptionally good condition may command higher premiums than the same coins in poor condition.
